Accessibility Statement

Digital Accessibility

IHK Foreign Skills Approval (IHK FOSA) is actively committed to a barrier-free internet that is fully accessible to all people, regardless of individual limitations. Our goal is to provide a website that not only meets the technical requirements of accessibility, but also enables intuitive and comfortable use for everyone.

Since digital accessibility is an ongoing process, we continuously review and optimize our website. We regularly analyze potential barriers, adapt existing content, and implement improvements to continuously increase accessibility and user-friendliness. Our goal is to offer all users an inclusive and enjoyable online experience.

How accessible is our website?

Our website www.ihk-fosa.de is largely accessible. Most technical requirements are met and comply with the provisions of EU Directive 2016/2102 and standard EN 301 549.

Which areas are not yet accessible?

Some content currently still has barriers, including:

1. Alternative texts & labels
2. Structure & order
3. Perceptibility & Contrast
4. Usability & navigation
5. Language & semantic errors
6. User-defined settings

Users' own customisations can cause certain buttons to disappear.

We are continuously working to remove existing barriers.

This accessibility statement is based on an assessment by Medialen GmbH (www.diemedialen.de), taking into account the above guidelines and the WCAG 2.1 success criteria.
